Feasts

In the North East, we don’t host dinners — we conjure experiences.

You’re not a guest.
You’re part of the story.

For venues & organisers

Turning spaces into stories

House of Kaos is a creative event design and styling company that transforms ordinary venues into extraordinary, story‑driven experiences.

We don’t sell generic “theme packages”. We read your venue, listen to your brief and invent a bespoke concept that could only exist in that space, for that one night.

Our philosophy is simple: Space → Story → Stuff. We start with the character of your building, design a narrative that honours it, then bring that story to life with props, lighting, table dressing and carefully choreographed moments.

Ideal for fundraising galas, alternative/gothic weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate nights and secret‑society style gatherings in halls with personality.

A small, powerful calendar of chaos

We keep our feasts rare so each one feels like a ritual. The Vampire Ball has already had its night in the dark; next on the horizon is the Siren’s Abyss Ball in September 2027, with Frankenstein’s Mad Dinner stalking the seasons between.

Vampire Ball

Crimson velvet, lace and sharp tailoring. Eternal elegance, decadent aristocrats and creatures of the night. Our 2026 Vampire Ball was held on 30 May — the hall became a living gothic painting.

Past event • 30 May 2026

Frankenstein’s Mad Dinner

Stitched‑together elegance and laboratory chic. Chains, bolts, bandages and monochrome palettes fit right in. A recurring feast of mad science and stitched‑together couture.

10th September 2026 • The County Hotel, Newcastle

Siren’s Abyss Ball

Shipwreck royalty and deep‑sea divinity. Iridescent fabrics, wet‑look textures and ocean‑dark palettes for a night that feels like drowning in glamour.

September 2027

Dates are limited; each concept usually appears once per year. Join the mailing list or check our Events & Tickets page to see what’s next.

Voices from the Kaos

Our events are rare — each one a world premiere in its own right. Every gathering is crafted as an immersive production, designed to transport you beyond the ordinary.

The themed dinner events I’ve attended have both been warm, friendly and a great laugh all around. Sarah and Alex are excellent hosts — incredible attention to theme and décor.
— Terry & Steph
Underland was pure magic from start to finish. Every room, every moment felt like stepping into another world. We’ve already booked for the next feast.

We were completely transported. The attention to detail, the immersive characters, the music — everything felt like stepping into another realm.

Questions before you step inside

FAQ

A feast with House of Kaos is meant to feel otherworldly, not confusing. Here are a few answers to the things people most often ask before they book.

Do you travel outside the North East?

Our main hunting ground is the North East of England, but we're open to travelling across the wider North for the right project. Tell us about your venue and we'll let you know what's possible.

What kind of venues work best?

We love buildings with character: halls, lodges, clubs, community spaces and historic venues that are itching to be seen in a different light. If your space has atmosphere, we can build a world inside it.

How far in advance should we book?

For private events, three to six months gives us room to design something bespoke, though we can sometimes move faster. For our own feasts, tickets usually go on sale several months ahead and often sell out.

What's the typical budget range?

Budgets vary depending on scale, guest numbers and how hard you want to lean into the detail. Most private styling and production projects sit in the low‑to‑mid four figures, with large‑scale experiences above that.

If you’re here for our own feasts, keep an eye on the events page — with only four dinners and one ball a year, tickets move fast.
