House of Kaos Vampire Ball

Eternal Night Awaits: Step Into the Shadows

In the velvet embrace of Newcastle's most opulent haunt, the House of Kaos Vampire Ball beckons you to surrender to the eternal night. On May 30, 2026, the Vermont Hotel transforms into a labyrinth of gothic splendour—a realm where mystery mingles with elegance, and every whisper carries the promise of timeless allure. This isn't just an evening; it's a ritual for the undead elite, where creatures of the night converge under a blood moon to dance on the edge of oblivion.

The magic unfolds with haunting melodies that pulse like a vein beneath silk. Lose yourself to the darkwave rhythms and industrial anthems spun by Social Youth Cult and Chaos 8, their beats a siren call echoing through the night until dawn's first blush.

Whether you're a lifelong vampire aficionado, a macabre romantic seeking a unique date night, or simply a soul drawn to the exquisite thrill of the unknown, this ball promises an immersion like no other. It's more than a party; it's a descent into belonging, where the gothic heart beats strongest.

About our Vampire Ball & House of Kaos

Our Vampire Ball is the flagship event of House of Kaos, a gothic events collective based in Newcastle. We craft immersive experiences that honour the outcasts, dreamers and misfits who feel most alive under moonlight – from multi‑course feasts to horror‑themed pop‑up nights.

Created and hosted by Sarah and Alex, each Ball and event is a carefully designed ritual of dark elegance, theatrical detail and genuine connection. We don't just throw parties – we build nights that linger in your veins long after the candles burn out.

Meet the headliners

WE are updating this section as Social Youth Cult has been replaced by Volcarna. More information will follow.

Chaos 8 conjures a brutal and beautiful storm of hard-driven guitars and dark, swirling synths. Since their explosive debut in 2014, they've carved a sonic path through rock, metal, goth, industrial, and punk—each track a ritual of oppressive mood and cathartic release.

Their discography includes Burn (2014), Cause & Effect (2016, red vinyl edition), and three EPs: Out Of Control, She Is Coming, and One Last Kiss. A new album is set to rise in late 2025. With performances across the UK, Ireland, France, and Germany—and airplay on BBC Introducing and HRH Radio—Chaos 8 remains a relentless force in the underground.
