House of Kaos :: Creative Styling for the Darkly Imaginative

Creative styling for the darkly imaginative

Immersive gothic feasts in North East England. You’re not a guest. You’re cast.

House of Kaos turns ordinary venues into one-night-only worlds — for our own limited‑run feasts and for clients who want events that feel distinctive, memorable and beautifully unusual.

What we do: Bespoke event design, styling and immersive guest journeys for private, corporate and fundraising clients — plus four themed feasts a year and one grand annual ball.

For venues & organisers

Turning spaces into stories

House of Kaos is a creative event design and styling company that transforms ordinary venues into extraordinary, story‑driven experiences.

We don’t sell generic “theme packages”. We read your venue, listen to your brief and invent a bespoke concept that could only exist in that space, for that one night.

Our philosophy is simple: Space → Story → Stuff. We start with the character of your building, design a narrative that honours it, then bring that story to life with props, lighting, table dressing and carefully choreographed moments.

Ideal for fundraising galas, alternative/gothic weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate nights and secret‑society style gatherings in halls with personality.

House of Kaos signature events

A small, powerful calendar of chaos

We keep our feasts rare so each one feels like a ritual. The Vampire Ball has already had its night in the dark; next on the horizon is the Siren’s Abyss Ball in September 2027, with Frankenstein’s Mad Dinner stalking the seasons between.

Vampire Ball

Crimson velvet, lace and sharp tailoring. Eternal elegance, decadent aristocrats and creatures of the night. Our 2026 Vampire Ball was held on 30 May — the hall became a living gothic painting.

Past event • 30 May 2026

Frankenstein’s Mad Dinner

Stitched‑together elegance and laboratory chic. Chains, bolts, bandages and monochrome palettes fit right in. A recurring feast of mad science and stitched‑together couture.

10th September 2026 • The County Hotel, Newcastle

Siren’s Abyss Ball

Shipwreck royalty and deep‑sea divinity. Iridescent fabrics, wet‑look textures and ocean‑dark palettes for a night that feels like drowning in glamour.

Next up • September 2027

Dates are limited; each concept usually appears once per year. Join the mailing list or check our Events & Tickets page to see what’s next.

First time at a feast?

What to expect at a House of Kaos night

Our signature events run only a few times a year, so we treat every one like a miniature world premiere.

1

Choose your house

Pick the feast that calls to you — Vampire, Mad Scientist or Siren. Each has its own dress code, soundtrack and rituals.

2

Build your look

Use our dress code page and moodboards as a guide. The brief is about theme and character, not gender or labels, and comfort comes first.

3

Step into the story

Arrive at the venue, check in at the door and let the set, performers and other guests pull you into the world. Eat, drink, plot and pose; we’ll handle the chaos.

Enquiries & bookings

Talk to the House

If you’re a venue, committee or private host with a space and a date, we can help you turn it into a one‑night‑only world your guests will actually remember.

If you’re here for our own feasts, keep an eye on the events page — with only four dinners and one ball a year, tickets move fast.

Email Sarah at sarah@houseofkaos.co.uk with a few lines about your venue or which feast you’re curious about, and we’ll start plotting.

Based in the North

House of Kaos works primarily across the North East of England, with plans to expand further across the North as our reputation and prop library grow.

We love venues with character: Masonic halls, clubs, lodges, community spaces and historic buildings that are itching to be seen in a different light.
